NEW BRUNSWICK SONGWRITER'S SERIES

The concept of the show started with a random gathering of songwriter’s. Four musicians were put together to tape a television songwriter’s special - Chris Colepaugh, Darcy Mazerolle, Melanie Keith and Robin Anne Ettles. What resulted was a magical collaboration of music, trading of solos and back-up harmonies, laughter and jokes, and a positive, energetic night. This concept led the four entertainers to put together a show that offered the core vibe of these magical performances.

In each region, The Songwriter’s Tour will solicit names of performers who would compliment the evening’s performance. They will work with the chosen artist in advance to familiarize themselves with the artist’s work so as to be able to offer a complimenting guitar solo, an interweaving harmony, or simply rapt attention. This integration of the show with regional stars will instill a sense of ownership of the event in to the community, allow artists to expand their original roots, and work with audiences to create an innovative and stylish event.
